A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck today, shaking parts of northern Thailand and Myanmar. One of the most devastating events was the collapse of a high-rise building under construction in Bangkok, which has already claimed the lives of at least three people and left dozens more missing.
Buildings across the city shook violently, causing panic and mass evacuations. Public transport services, including the BTS and MRT, were temporarily shut down. The government has declared Bangkok a disaster zone to streamline emergency efforts.
