April brought some exciting experiments, a few challenges, and plenty of insights. With Songkran festivities across Thailand, many of the girls took time to be with family, and site activity was a little lower than usual — but that gave me space to work on some new ideas.
I spent over two weeks crafting and posting daily ads for the girl working up to a new ad going up each hour of the day, day and night across platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Threads, BlueSky, X (Twitter), and Facebook. It was starting to work: overall views were climbing fast, and an unexpected benefit was that our existing customers started discovering new girls they hadn’t engaged with before — and sent more support their way.
But the push was too much as the accounts started getting flagged. YouTube removed our account entirely. I appealed and they apologized and reversed the decision, but the damage to momentum was done. Ghost bans at some of the other social media sites. FaceBook had flags quickly so I paused that early and removed what I had been posting. The takeaway?
➡️ Group accounts should be used for group posts, not individual posts about each girl. We have too many girls and that's probably too much for one account.
➡️ Individual girls should advertise themselves going forward — and I will be talking AGAIN with them all about this. I encourage you to help me encourage them to do so. I am happy to help them, but THEY need to create and maintain the social media accounts.
I also placed a paid ad on a site for $150 (~5,500 baht) this month. It's generating traffic, but it's too early to measure full results. With expenses and my low 10% cut, we’ll need about $3,000 (~110,000 baht) in new top-ups for it to pay off. Fingers crossed.
No major site issues in April. I’ve been rebooting the server about once per month as a preventive step, and it seems to help. Everything’s been stable.
We’re shifting gears. Girls will be encouraged to promote themselves on social media using their own accounts. I’ll still provide advice, creative help, or account setup support when needed. The should use the social media accounts they have or setup new ones just for this.
Also — I want your feedback:
What would you like to see on the site this May?
Is the site logging you out too quickly? I tried to fix that before, but I can implement a stronger solution if enough people mention it. Let me know if that’s something that’s been bothering you. Or if you have other requests.
Thanks for being part of the MAF community. Your support helps everyone here grow. Here's to a stronger, smarter May ahead.
