AI Edit Feature Secretly Upgraded A Few Months Ago
AI Edit Got an Upgrade (A Few Months Ago) 💫
Hey everyone, Mickey here.
Some of you tried the AI Edit feature on the blogs a while back and noticed it could be a little
overprotective 😅. Well that's less an issue now.
A few months ago I secretly and quietly swapped in a much better editing model, but I never actually announced it.
So if you tested AI Edit back when it was stricter, you should know:
it’s still reasonably moderated, but it’s definitely much less censored and a lot smarter than before.
What’s Better Now?
Less “Nope, you can’t do that.”
The editor isn’t freaking out over every little change anymore. It’s still moderated within reason,
but it’s much less trigger-happy about blocking or distorting areas you’re trying to edit.
Edits look way more natural.
Lighting, skin, and textures blend in much better. Changes look like part of the original photo,
not like a sticker slapped on top.
Fewer weird glitches.
Faces, hair, hands, and body lines are handled with more care, so you’re far less likely to get
strange warping when you just want a simple adjustment.
More consistent results.
The old system was hit-or-miss. The new one behaves more predictably across most blog images
and typical edit prompts.
Cleaner handling of edges and shapes.
The engine understands outlines and boundaries better,
so edits come out cleaner and closer to what you asked for.
So if you tried AI Edit months ago and thought, “Okay, this is too censored and too glitchy,”
it’s worth giving it another shot. The experience now is a lot closer to how it was always
supposed to feel and I’ll continue to improve it even more over time.
If you create something really good, definitely share it on the public feed so everyone can enjoy it (just keep it non-nude on the public feed).
