I want to sincerely thank everyone who has stepped up to support Joy over the past week. The response has been strong, and it has made a real, immediate difference. I see it, and Joy feels it.
For transparency, I also want to share a brief update. Joy recently had a routine hospital visit related to her ongoing dialysis care. This was not an emergency, and her condition is stable. The visit involved regular monitoring and a small medication adjustment that is common for dialysis patients.
Despite dealing with serious health challenges, Joy continues to show up, post updates, and stay engaged on the site. That consistency matters, and it’s something you should take into account when deciding how and where to focus your support.
Support often comes in waves, which is completely normal. But Joy’s situation is ongoing, not temporary. Steady, continued support over time helps far more than short spikes.
In addition to your continued support, I’d also like to hear your ideas on how we can help Joy reach more people. That could include:
Many of the best improvements on this site have come directly from user feedback. If you have suggestions — whether about promotion, content, or site features — feel free to share them with me.
Thank you again to everyone who has helped so far, and to those who continue to support Joy moving forward.
